Purpose Of Post : To promote all Health, Safety and Environmental functions within Wright En Drive Ltd.

Responsible for: To identify, plan & develop a culture of safety throughout the business, implementing robust Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) management systems that are appropriate, together

with the introduction, co-ordination and on-going management and control of associated strategies

policies and procedures.

Key Tasks :

  1. Achievement of individual and company objectives.
  2. Assist in the development of polices, systems and procedures as required and communication of same.
  3. Ensure compliance with H&S and environmental law and best practice.
  4. Establish and maintain safe systems of work for all activities.
  5. Develop a positive business culture and behaviour towards HSE, involving all employees with particular emphasis on accident investigation.
  6. Increase and maintain employee and contractor awareness of HSE issues.
  7. Manage / action and report on required safety meetings.
  8. Provide guidance and advice to management in.
  9. Assist with the completion of risk assessments.
  10. Maintain appropriate manual and electronic recording systems.
  11. Deliver training sessions on relevant HSE aspects.
  12. Ensure the proper management, corrective and preventive actions for accidents across all sites, analysing group trends and root causes.
  13. Liaison with local authorities, e.g. HSE(NI), Ballymena Borough Council, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service.
  14. Undertake any other duties conducive with the effective operation of the post
