LAND / SITE SURVEYOR

Oxfordshire

We are keen to speak with Site Surveyors with Setting Out experience who enjoy working collaboratively as part of site-base project teams on new build projects from 5m to 60m. The successful candidate may need to travel to sites across the operating region of Cambridge to Oxfordshire so must have a full UK driving license.

The successful applicant will need to be proficient at general site engineering duties including placement of gridline and datums. In addition to this, your skill set must extend to topographic, building and as-built surveys, setting out, establishing survey control and occasional laser scanning.

The role requires a level of experience where the candidate is comfortable with interrogating drawings and has an eye for detail, and is able to cehck the wuality of work undertaken by specialist sub-contractors. Just as importantly, the successful candidate will need to share the company's approach of problem solving, teamwork and collaboration.

Software: You will ideally have good AutoCAD skills and show proficiently at processing and calculating surveys. Experience of the LICATS16 is essential.

As you will be rquiredto prepare technical reports and spreadsheets, as well as answering queries on site, you should be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

Qualifications: A degree or HND/HNC qualification in a surveying / construction related discipline and 5 years experience working in a Site Engineering / Land Surveying role is ideal.
