Production Planner - 3-Month Rolling Contract Location: Oxfordshire Rate: £20-£25 per hour (Inside IR35) We are seeking a Production Planner to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment on a 3-month rolling contract. This role will support the execution of ERP/MRP production schedules, ensuring efficient planning and coordination of materials and resources. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute ERP/MRP system-generated work orders and scheduling activities
  • Expedite overdue work orders to align with production schedules
  • Liaise with procurement, warehousing, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability
  • Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Maintain data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems
  • Drive continuous improvement in production scheduling and material control

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
  • Eerience managing complex BOMs and engineering changes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
