we are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team for an exciting commercial development project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the electrical works on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Lead, coordinate, and supervise the electrical installation team and subcontractors.
- Review electrical drawings and ensure the execution of the works aligns with design specifications.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to monitor and report on project milestones.
- Manage project budgets, ensure cost control, and maintain detailed records of work performed.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Troubleshoot any electrical issues and resolve them promptly to avoid project delays.
- Ensure all testing and commissioning of electrical systems are completed and documented.
- Promote a positive working environment, fostering team collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
Skills & Experience:
- Valid ECS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Electrical Supervisor on commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEE Wiring Regulations, Building Regulations, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team and engage with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Full understanding of health and safety requirements in the construction industry.
- A valid Electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, etc.) and 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Previous experience in commercial projects is highly desirable.
