Pre Press Technician
Were working with a large print manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add an experienced Pre Press Technician to its Pre Press productopm teams.
Location: Nr Bicester
Hours: Days, 12 hours shifts 07.00am-19.00pm, Average 42 hour week - Week 1 Tuesday to Friday / Week 2 Wednesday to Friday
Salary: £27,980
Key Requirements:
Support the Pre Press Manager in the effective running of the Pre Press Department
You will be be responsible for working with client delivered artwork to produce digital impositions and managing CTP production.
To be successful, we would like you to have the following experience:
- Good knowledge of PDF Workflows, ideally Kodak Prinergy workflow
- Experience of Imposition software, ideally for magazine or catalogue print production
- An understanding of Kodak Prinergy Rule Automation or similar Artwork Automation systems advantageous
- Good knowledge and understanding of Pre Press Colour management
- Knowledge of rule based automation systems would be beneficial
- Experience of printing plate production via Plate setters / Screen Platerite setters
This is a key prepress role within a busy production department, and would suit you if you have good experience in prepress or plate production in a previous role.
