Description

The Part-Time Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Banking: Overseeing the management, administration, and reconciliation of the Company bank accounts, and numerous card purchase reconciliations across the companies. This role will include undertaking all regular and ad hoc banking payments and account transfers.
  • Finance Management: Ensuring day-to-day management of business finances, responding to internal queries, and dealing with any escalated issues.
  • Finance Processes: Keeping finance processes and systems up to date and under review, including maintaining and correct record keeping of financial records, as well as making recommendations for changes and improvements as required.
  • Accounts Payable: Auditing and recording supplier invoices and compiling for payment, and ensuring all invoices are paid promptly.
  • Handling Queries: Handling questions and queries from customers and colleagues whether by email or telephone, and ensuring these are responded to or passed to the relevant person in line with the agreed service levels for resolution.

Profile

The Part-Time Finance Assistant will be/have:

  • Experience in a Finance/Accounting background
  • Computer literate with Finance software experience
  • Good Excel skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Immediately available
