Academics LTD are working with a fantastic school in the Bicester area who are looking to appoint hard working, motivational Classroom Assistants ASAP.

This Classroom Assistant role will give you valuable experience in the classroom, working with pupils that need additional support to succeed. This is the ideal opportunity for candidates who are aspiring to have a career in education and have a successful impact on the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with classroom management and providing support to students during lessons.
  • Help students with their individual learning needs, ensuring they are engaged and supported.
  • Provide additional support for students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
  • Encourage a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere and contribute to creating a safe learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Support teachers with administrative tasks such as marking and record-keeping.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
  • A genuine interest in working with young people and helping them reach their full potential.
  • Experience in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, adaptable, and positive attitude.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) are preferred.
