Christmas Experience Manager

We are looking for a hands-on, passionate Christmas Experience Manager to support the delivery of a magical Christmas experience at a luxury location in Bicester. You will be a critical part of ensuring that the logistics of the Christmas attractions are executed to the highest standards.

You will work closely with other departments, including entertainment and hosting to make sure everything runs efficiently and meets the highest standards.

You will be working 5 out of 7 days within a temporary position that starts on the 28th of November 2024 and runs until the 5th of January 2025.

Duties of the Christmas Experience Manager:

• Manage the operations of snow machines, ensuring they function correctly and as required.
• Adjust programming or fix malfunctions of the machines to maintain snowfall.
• Meet with musical acts daily, making sure that their set up is correct and ready for performance.
• Monitor performance quality and adjust any aspects to improve the display.
• Work with the hosting team, checking the have the correct equipment and are based in the right location.
• Assess the hosting team’s performance and provide feedback to the Host Manager.
• Conduct uniform and dress code checks.
• Oversee a 'Letters to Santa’ area, maintaining stock and required materials.
• Empty the post box regularly and taking them to be prepared for posting.
• Manage guest interaction and resolve any problems that may arise.
• Anticipate potential issues, quickly creating resolutions.

Personal Attributes:

• Have experience in a PA/EA role.
• Be able to problem solve and adapt swiftly to new circumstances.
• Work well in a busy and fast paced environment, working with multiple teams.
• Be motivating and encouraging, boosting the team moral and accentuating the festive spirit.
• Show strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate flexibility, being able to work hours as required to support the company needs.
• Be comfortable working outside in a variety of weather conditions.
