Electrical Engineer - Diagnostic/Software

Were looking for an enthusiastic Diagnostic Software Engineer to focus on electrical system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and integration within our low-volume electric vehicles.



Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement diagnostic software to test and validate electrical systems and component integration.


Collaborate with the Chief Electrical Engineer to refine harness routings and diagnostic protocols.

Support LabCar testing, prototype builds, and pre-production diagnostics.

Provide troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical issues, ensuring system reliability.

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective solutions.

Continuously improve diagnostic processes for efficient, safe design.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related qualification.
Experience in vehicle diagnostics, low-volume or motorsport engineering.

Proficiency in electrical diagnostics tools, CAN/LIN networks, and LV vehicle wiring.

Strong attention to detail, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and workshop readiness.
Familiarity with Cadonix, Arcadia, Zuken, or similar diagnostic software.
