Our dynamic client, located in Bicester, is in search of a talented Technical Sales Engineer to join their welcoming UK team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to support the Sales and Technical Manager in expanding both new and existing customer accounts, making a significant impact on the business’s growth.
We are looking for a candidate with an NVQ-level qualification in engineering or equivalent work experience, combined with a proven track record in technical sales and customer account management. The ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and relatable manner to non-technical clients is essential. This UK-based role primarily involves domestic travel, with occasional opportunities for international travel. A full UK driving licence is required.

Requirements
- NVQ level qualification in engineering is desired, but not essential. Previous work experience will be considered.
- Proven experience in technical sales and customer account management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on increasing sales revenue.
- Outstanding problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills with experience in building effective customer relationships and resolving customer issues promptly and satisfactorily.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
- An ability to relay technical information to non-technical clients.
- Good team working and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel - the role is UK based with most travel being domestic but may, from time to time, require some international commitments.
- Knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Office programs and ERP/CRM database experience is desired (training on company ERP/CRM will be provided).
Full UK driving license.
Working Hours - Monday - Thursday 08:30-17:00 Friday 08:30-16:00
Based in Bicester office when not travelling so must live with commuting distance.
