Education Boutique is a leading provider of bespoke tuition and alternative provision, supporting learners with a wide range of additional needs. We specialise in delivering tailored, trauma-informed education to students who may not thrive in traditional classroom settings. Our tutors are experts in their fields and bring compassion, creativity, and flexibility to every learning journey.

Education Boutique is seeking a specialist in-person tutor to provide up to 4 hours per week of 1:1 academic support for a student based in Bicester. The role involves delivering:

• Functional Skills English - 2 hours

• Functional Skills Maths - 2 hours

All sessions will take place during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and are delivered in person only. This is an ongoing role supporting a student with complex needs, including SEN, SEMH, PDA, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Hypermobility.

• Deliver engaging, in-person tutoring in Functional Skills English, Functional Skills Maths

• Tailor sessions to meet the needs of a learner with a complex SEND profile

• Use trauma-informed and pupil-led approaches to foster engagement and progress

• Build strong, supportive relationships with the student to encourage confidence and participation

• Track and report on progress, adapting plans as needed to ensure continued development

• Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and Maths, and Functional Skills Science

• Demonstrated experience supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, PDA, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and Hypermobility.

• Trauma-informed teaching approach

• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service

• Self-employed status and right to work in the UK

• Availability during weekday daytime hours

• Reliable transport to attend in-person sessions in Bicester

• Calm, adaptable, and empathetic approach

• Skilled in supporting learners outside of mainstream education

• Creative and flexible teaching style to meet individual needs
