Role: Senior Test Analyst
Location:Â Solihull - Hybrid
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Job Description
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Software Testing professional to join a global organisation located within commutable distance from Birmingham, Coventry and the surrounding areas. This is a hybrid role with visits to the office required 2-3 days a week, which is great if you love collaborating in an office environment.
You will be responsible for planning all required test phases, tracking progress and managing and maintaining an effective testing process. This includes both co-ordinating closely with Project Managers, internal stakeholders and third-party vendors and managing internal test resources, cycles and artefacts.
Skills and Experience
- Co-ordinate Vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure all meet testing obligations in line with agreed contract, strategy and schedule
- Manage creation and implementation of test plans, test data, test cases/scripts
- Co-ordinate defect resolution and manage re-test dates in line with priority/severity/timeline
- Provide test execution progress / defect metrics to stakeholders with appropriate format / frequency
Your Experience
- Demonstrable experience of leading multiple concurrent test cycles (both technical and business)
- Methodical, systematic approach to closing out testing cycles
- Understanding of technical system architecture
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Experience of working in a cross functional team; able to describe tools and techniques for working with different groups of stakeholders before, during and after a testing cycle
- Demonstrable experience of managing system implementations (desirable)
