This national fire systems installer are looking to recruit Gas Suppression Systems Design Manager to lead their team to produce design deliverables in line with project programs, based from home in England with some UK travel as necessary. Reporting to the Group Design Manager the successful applicant will work closely with project managers, designers and other staff to manage the design of complex major projects. Candidate will need to have excellent design capability and technical expertise with regards to gas suppression systems, with proven ability to professionally document, illustrate and present detailed designs that are compliant to all current standards, managing the day-to-day activities of the suppression design team, assisting the group design manager to achieve company goals and strategies, providing technical leadership to the team, ensuring compliance and accuracy to all design proposals. Candidates should ideally have FIA certification, and engineering qualification, experience of Revit and Navisworks and experience of design systems for major projects. This exciting opportunity comes with a basic salary of 55,000 (negotiable) plus car/allowance and benefits package, and the opportunity to work from home
