Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive Role
- Will focus on supporting the current product specialist for the area by assisting with new business development, account management, quotations, and technical support for all Mechanical Engineering products and services on offer.
- Maintainingmechanical handling related sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets. Products will include chains, sprockets, conveyors, valves, and associated products.
- Provide after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required to customers within a variety of industries for all mechanical handling products and services on offer.
- Support the UK Sales team and marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other company wide sales events.
- Work remotely/ field-basedcovering the Midlands and Wales with regular visits to customer sites.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development ExecutiveRequirements
- Experience as a Sales Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Sales Executive, Area Sales Manager or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
- Experience selling or managing key accounts within a mechanical engineering environment, such as chains, sprockets, valves, conveyor systems, actuators, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical seals, gaskets, compressed air, vacuum systems, bearings, motors, gearboxes and or similar mechanical engineering products and systems. Full product training provided.
- Candidates with experience selling in industries such as construction, mining, manufacturing, biomass waste / power are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Full clean driving license.
- Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the Midlands and Wales.
