Terzetto Stone is looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team near Wetherby, in North Yorkshire. Reporting to the overall Warehouse Manager, you will share responsibility for all warehousing and transport operations.  This will include stock ordering, receipt, stock management systems, order dispatch, Health & Safety and managing the team on a day-to-day basis.

We import natural stone and porcelain tiles and we have five retail showrooms across the UK.  You'll be working in our growing warehouse facility, helping to create a more efficient warehouse and embedding robust working procedures as the business grows.

As Warehouse Supervisor, you need to have experience of managing warehouse operations, making decisions, managing warehouse staff and an understanding of continuous improvement.

  • Management of the warehouse staff, appraisals, training and reporting any concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain the logistic movement of stocks by initiating, coordinating and enforcing procedures throughout transport and dispatch.
  • Reconciliation of all stocks, including aged stocks, stock rotation, damaged stock, and the continual drive to reduce stock holding levels.
  • Use your knowledge to help develop and improve appropriate warehouse management systems.
  • Ensure robust H&S procedures are in place & adhered to across the business.
  • Responsible for quality control and support after sales customer care and complaints.
  • Support with the import of goods from several countries.
  • Responsibility for all vehicles and machinery including forklifts, vans and lorries.
  • IT skills needed to perform daily tasks.
  • Supporting the work in the warehouse - handling heavy goods, stacking and packing orders using a forklift truck.

  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to working with changing demands.
  • Experience in both Transport and Warehousing Operations.
  • Full UK driving licence essential & fork truck licence.
