Job Title: Mobile Gas Enginner / Mechanical Engineer
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Up to £41K + van + fuel card
The Company:
Build Recruitment are working on behalf of a facilities group to recruit a mobile gas engineer or mechanical engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Our client is looking for an experienced gas engineer or mechanical engineer to join them on a permanent basis to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a large commercial contract covering Plymouth and Cornwall.
You will be required to be part of the out of hours rota to attend emergency repairs (approx 1 week in 5, standby rates extra to the salary).
A company van and fuel card are provided.
Day to Day:
- HVAC repairs and maintenance
- Planned commercial maintennace in adherance to set engineering standards.
- Reactive works including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and minor fabric repairs.
- Minor projects
- Emergency call outs
Requirements:
- You will need to hold your ACS gas qualifications
- A level 2 plumbing qualification or above
- Unvented Hot Water Systems
- Oil OFTEC
- Basic HVAC knowledge and experience- FGAS is desirable
- Basic fabric repair skills such as carpentry, painting, and internal and external fixture and fitting repairs
