With offices in London, Manchester and the Southwest, we specialise in Housing, Construction, Facilities Management, Property, Surveying, Health & Safety and Sales. We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a public sector contractor, who are looking for a Contract Manager based in the Southwest.  Plymouth office location

Our client works in the public sector, with clients including Universities, colleges and schools.

The Contract Manager will be responsible for quoting, pricing and costing works alongside client liaison and then managing the project delivery. 

This role would suit an experienced construction trades person with experience of estimating works and excellent customer/ client service skills.

Day to Day:

  • Day to day meetings with new and existing clients, estimating for works, pricing materials
  • Measuring up work on site
  • Maximising work with existing clients
  • Liaising with subbies and directing/ advising of scope of works required
  • Provide detailed handovers.
  • Working with fixed rates 
  • Managing project delivery
  • Snagging works 

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):

  • Experience of compiling Estimates
  • Experience of measuring up on site, allocating materials and pricing
  • IT literate using Excel, CLIK,Simpro
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own
  • Full UK Driving License
