We are seeking a Electrical Chargehand to join our client team. As an Electrical Chargehand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical installations and leading a team of electricians. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the successful completion of projects and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and support throughout electrical installations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth work flow and timely completion of projects.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior electricians, promoting their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Chargehand or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
  • Valid electrical certifications and licenses.

Qualifications:

  • JIB gold card approved electrician.
  • 2391 inspection and testing
  • 18th edition wiring regs
  • SMSTS
