Job Description: Team Leader - Healthcare (150 hours per month)Location: Bideford, DevonPay Rate: £13.37 per hourShifts: Day shifts, 3-week rolling rota (one weekend in three)
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
- Care Delivery: Support residents with learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
- Shift Management: Lead day shifts, ensuring the team follows care plans and health & safety regulations.
- Training & Development: Provide training and mentorship to staff to ensure ongoing development.
- Compliance: Ensure all records are maintained and comply with policies, safeguarding, and infection control standards.
- Support for Management: Assist the Care Manager with daily operations and quality assurance.
- Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or social care, ideally in a leadership role.
- Qualifications: Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (NVQ Level 4 in Leadership preferred).
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge: Understanding of learning disabilities, mental health, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
- Flexibility: Able to work day shifts on a rolling rota, including one weekend in three.
