We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support our Payroll Manager in producing accurate and timely payrolls for our operations. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, operating on monthly payroll cycles.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and inputting payroll data for accurate processing.
- Managing key payroll life-cycle events, including:
- Joiner and leaver administration
- Absence management and record-keeping
- Salary, allowance, and benefit changes
- Compliance with statutory obligations (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMP, NMW, etc.)
- Processing variable pay elements, including bonus calculations and inbound payment interfaces.
- Auditing payroll data and executing critical system tasks.
- Generating and analysing payroll exception, error, and KPI reports.
- Submitting external reports to statutory bodies, benefit providers, and linked systems.
- Managing and reconciling third-party payments (pensions, childcare, voluntary deductions, etc.).

- Experience in payroll operations and compliance with payroll legislation.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
