Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm (37 hours per week, could involve working Saturdays and Bank Holidays)

Are you an experienced and skilled HGV mechanic with a passion for maintaining and repairing vehicles? Join our clients team as a Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet of 45-50 clients vehicles is well-maintained and compliant with all legislation.
Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a fleet of specialist large goods vehicles in compliance with VOSA (Vehicle Operating Standards Agency) regulations.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and emissions faults.
- Service all vehicles and prepare them for MOT inspections.
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs, including on-site work when necessary.
- Keep detailed maintenance records for all vehicles.
- Ensure the workshop area is clean, safe, and secure, adhering to Health and Safety regulations.
Vehicle Fitter/Mechanic Essential Requirements:
- HGV mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
- HGV Licence (full UK driving licence).
- Own tools.
- Good understanding of diagnosing vehicle electrical and emission faults.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and perform outdoor tasks in all weather conditions.
