Support PractitionerWe are looking for someone with experience working with adults with learning disabilities. A key expectation for all our team members is that they follow and carryout our values: Collaboration, Change Makers, Compassion, and Contribution.

This is a temporary-to-permanent role with full-time hours with an extremely competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to autistic individuals based on their outcome-based support plans.
  • Develop and maintain support plans in line with relevant policies, procedures, and current legislation.
  • Actively contribute to service planning, delivery, and coordination with autonomy within the team.
  • Ensure the highest quality of service provision, adhering to best practices and safeguarding standards.
  • Maintain accurate and robust records within Scottish Autism's systems, including online platforms.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Maintain mandatory training requirements and demonstrate continuous professional development in autism.
  • Develop a strong understanding of and implement low arousal support, following Studio 3 principles, with a focus on reducing restraint and working towards Scottish Autism's goal of eliminating restraint.
