Senior Financial Controller, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire (hybrid working)£75- £90kpa + Bonus + BenefitsOur client, an impressive multi-national with an excellent reputation, are looking for a technically strong Senior Financial Controller, to join the business following a period of sustained growth. The successful candidate will have highly likely progressed from practice, where the technical skills were developed and progressed into industry and now working in a controllership-based role, looking for a step up/ move into a market leading business with excellent internal growth opportunities. Key Points:-* Supervise and manage three direct reports* Take the lead in consolidating cash flow and performing variance analysis* Lead the preparation of Year-End Reporting* Oversee Balance Sheet Reconciliations and leverage Power BI dashboards* Manage VAT reporting process* Assist the Group Tax team with tax analysis, including Corporation Tax* Oversee Intercompany relationships, including loans, recharges, and reconciliations* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including monthly depreciation/amortisation postings and impairment reviews* Lead the Month-End Reporting process to the Group Control Team* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities from a cash flow and balance sheet standpoint* Review and evaluate key financial controls to ensure they mitigate risk effectively* Identify potential weaknesses or risks in internal controls and collaborate with stakeholders to develop stronger financial processes and controls, offering updates or recommendations as needed* Lead the Internal and External Audit process, including preparing technical documentation* Act as the primary point of contact with Group teams, including Financial Shared Service Centre, Financial Reporting & Control, Supply Chain Control, Procurement, Treasury, and Tax Teams* Provide support for Divisional and Group Finance projectsThe successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong experience on FRS102 reporting and accounting principles/ concepts.
