We are hiring on behalf of our client, a vibrant café within an educational setting. If you are passionate about coffee, delivering excellent customer service, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

As this role is based within an educational institution, an Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to starting.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other refreshments.
Operate coffee machines and other equipment to create high-quality drinks with consistency.
Provide friendly and professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Ensure the café and seating areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
Follow food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
Handle payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
Work as part of a team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience as a barista in a similar customer service role.
A passion for coffee and delivering excellent service.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention to detail.
A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
Current and in date Enhanced DBS is required (or willing to obtain if you do not currently have one).
