The role involves cutting and folding steel, adhering to safety procedures, and ensuring high-quality finishes on products.
Candidates must have Brake Press setting and operating experience, along with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate tooling.
The position requires working to tight tolerances and conducting visual inspections.
The job offers 40 hours per week, from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £18 per hour depending on experience.

Our client based in Biggleswade are looking to recruit an experienced Brake Press operative/sheet metal worker.

Responsibilities

Cutting and folding steel and associated sheet metal duties
Complete all required safety procedures.
Able to finish a product to a very high standard

Requirements

Brake Press Setting and operating experience
The ability to interpret engineering drawings and select correct tooling.
Used to working to tight tolerances & carry out visual inspection

Hours and Pay

40 Hours per week
7am to 4pm Monday - Friday
Salary up to £18/hour DOE
