Our Client
Established in 1971, and expansion over recent years has allowed our client to incorporate new specialisms and bring their renowned, customer-focused service to a wide area that now encompasses Essex, Hertfordshire and London.

They are now looking for an experiencedProbate Paralegalto join their team in their Biggleswade office. The successful candidate will assist fee earners working in their probate department, providing legal and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document management including case management and bundling
  • Conducting comprehensive researching including the drafting and writing of documents
  • Arranging and attending client meetings
  • Assisting the team in marketing their services and networking
  • Assisting colleagues and supporting supervisors in fee-earning matters
Requirements:
  • Proven typist (dictation will be required as part of the role)
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal within a law firm and ideally in a probate environment
  • Follow financial guidelines with regard to Solicitors Accounts Rules and cash flow control on case files
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with case management systems
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential information
  • Strong IT skills
  • Good drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability
