We're recruiting for SEMH Teaching Assistant in Biggleswade and for Psychology/Criminology Graduates in the education and training sector. These schools support children with SEMH, ADHD, autism, learning difficulties, and those who have experienced trauma.
We are looking for compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistants to join schools in Biggleswade. These schools work with students aged 4-19, supporting them through personalized learning plans to overcome academic and social challenges.
Location: Biggleswade
Role: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Pay: £460 - £500 per week (depending on experience)
Full-time: 8:30am to 3:45pm
Education and Training provided
Responsibilities:
- Support small groups or 1:1 with students, focusing on SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
- Assist in creating an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- Provide emotional and social development support with positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Help students build confidence and independence.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for working with children with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other SEN.
- Calm, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential. Full training provided.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Desire to pursue a career in the education and training sector.
