Biggleswade

An exciting and rewarding position has just become available for one of our prestigious clients based near Biggleswade. Due to location, your own transport is necessary. This is an ongoing temporary position to cover long-term sickness.

Salary: £15 per hour, paid weekly

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-3pm (term-time only)

Duties including, but not limited to:

  • To provide out of class study skills support to students with an identified Learning Difficulty and/or Disability on a 1-1 or small group basis.
  • To support the development of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • To maintain and develop a range of learning resources to support students
  • To work with curriculum teams to monitor and promote attendance of students
  • To maintain student records and other relevant paperwork

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Educated to Level 3 (A level or equivalent) standard
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training
  • GCSE Maths and English (grades A – C) or equivalent
  • Experience of providing support to individuals in an educational or care setting
  • Experience of working with students with a range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities
