Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be supporting a packaging solutions business, in the search and selection of a Senior Procurement Manager, based at their Biggleswade distribution operation.As the Senior Procurement Manager you will take the lead in defining and executing a game-changing packaging procurement strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role, perfect for a dynamic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.You’ll build and maintain powerful supplier relationships, optimise our supply chain, and drive cost efficiencies—all while leading a high-performing team. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong leadership, negotiation, and supplier management expertise, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.Responsibilities: • Own the Procurement Strategy – Develop, implement, and refine a procurement strategy that aligns with the groups ambitious growth plans.• Lead & Inspire – Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team in a fast-moving environment.• Supplier Excellence – Establish and nurture key supplier relationships, negotiating best-in-class agreements and ensuring long-term success.• Drive Business Impact – Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the supply chain is aligned with business objectives.• Optimise Supply Chain – Analyse market trends, enhance efficiency, and improve cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.• Champion Innovation – Identify opportunities for cost reduction, sustainability, and process improvements.• Ensure Compliance & Risk Management – Maintain best practices in procurement governance, contract negotiations, and supplier performance.Skills & Experience:• 10+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and sub-contract manufacturing negotiation expertise.• Proven strategic thinker with a commercial mindset and the ability to drive change.• Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.• Proficiency in procurement software & ERP systems.• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.• Track record of driving cost efficiencies and supply chain improvements.• Experience in managing intercompany relationships and collaborating across multiple business units.Package:£70,000  £75,000Car AllowanceBonusPensionHybrid working pattern Ready to make a difference?
