We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer based in the Bedfordshire area. you will be working a day shift in a food manufacturing company.

Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias with good mechanically skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance across production equipment.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure machinery reliability and uptime.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtime.
  • Attend to machinery breakdowns and proactively work to prevent reoccurring issues.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • Proven experience in fault-finding, repair, and preventative maintenance on production machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work double day shifts and be flexible for the on-call rota.
