Part Time - Maintenance Engineer

Commutable from Bedford, St Neots, Biggleswade, Sandy, Letchworth, Hitchin, Luton, Stevenage£14 -£21 p/h + Overtime Available
8am-5pm 2/3 days a week

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer, that values hard work, teamwork, and flexibility. In return they're able to offer flexibility and a steady job for someone looking at part-time positions. They are looking for a mechanically biased engineer that is looking for a steady position, and has experience in similar positions.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Working on FMCG production, and machinery and facilities maintenance- Responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance of all machinery
- Responsible for fabrication work for new parts and CI
- Welding work is required
- A lot of the electrical work is plug and play
- Working with a variety of PLCs on site
- Working with Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Bearings, Motors, capping machines, fillers, pumps, and Conveyors
- Assisting with installations of new equipment
- Ordering spares for the department
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Production and manufacturing experience
- Engineering qualification
- Ability to work individually
- PLC - Electrical fault finding skills
