Returns Assistant

Location: Biggleswade

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Our client, a respected name in the wholesale industry, is looking to recruit a Returns Assistant to join their dedicated returns team based in Biggleswade.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to step into an office-based administrative role with hands-on elements. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Returns department, working both independently and as part of a small, friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing supplier debits
  • Requesting and managing Branch/Customer RMAs
  • Approving and crediting returns
  • Updating supplier return procedures and managing outstanding RMAs
  • Handling emails and general office admin duties
  • Liaising with suppliers and CEF branches via phone and email
  • Providing occasional support on the returns shop floor when required

Requirements:

  • Strong administrative skills and confident using a computer
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel (full training provided on internal systems)
  • Good phone manner and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic
  • Able to work independently and within a small team
  • Positive, friendly, and willing to get involved in all aspects of the role
