Returns Assistant
Location: Biggleswade
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Salary: £12.21 per hour, increase once permanent
Our client, a respected name in the wholesale industry, is looking to recruit a Returns Assistant to join their dedicated returns team based in Biggleswade.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to step into an office-based administrative role with hands-on elements. You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the Returns department, working both independently and as part of a small, friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chasing supplier debits
- Requesting and managing Branch/Customer RMAs
- Approving and crediting returns
- Updating supplier return procedures and managing outstanding RMAs
- Handling emails and general office admin duties
- Liaising with suppliers and CEF branches via phone and email
- Providing occasional support on the returns shop floor when required
Requirements:
- Strong administrative skills and confident using a computer
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel (full training provided on internal systems)
- Good phone manner and communication skills
- Self-motivated, hardworking, and enthusiastic
- Able to work independently and within a small team
- Positive, friendly, and willing to get involved in all aspects of the role
