My client is seeking an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a modular industrial project in Bedfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing industrial sites, prior experience of modular sites be highly organised, and efficient in handling paperwork and compliance. This role requires leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with on-site teams and subcontractors to ensure the project progresses smoothly and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Oversight: Manage and oversee all aspects of the industrial project, ensuring that timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
* Team Coordination: Lead and supervise on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication, productivity, and adherence to project plans.
* Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed and accurate records, including daily logs, project schedules, and budget tracking, to ensure all paperwork is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
* Health & Safety: Enforce strict health and safety guidelines to create a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work, materials, and equipment on-site to meet project specifications and industry standards.
* Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues proactively.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in site management, particularly in industrial projects.
* Strong organisational skills, with a focus on paperwork management and documentation.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Effective leadership and team management abilities.
