Location: Biggleswade

Salary: £11.44 per hour (£27,180 when Perm)

Hours: 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Job Type: Temp to Perm, ASAP Start

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Warehouse Operatives to join our clients rapidly growing Power Tools Division in Biggleswade. This is your chance to play a key role in supporting all aspects of power tool activity in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.

The Warehouse Operative role is central to ensuring smooth operations in the Power Tools Division.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and execute power tool kit rework activities in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to complete reworks efficiently and accurately.
  • Organise stock to maximise picking and binning efficiency.
  • Conduct interim stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Monitor and resolve supplier, branch, and customer stock queries.
  • Oversee goods-in and order fulfilment processes to enhance warehouse productivity.
  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in the general management of the warehouse operations.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and additional responsibilities as the role develops.

Requirements:

  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring rework activities and stock management are completed with precision.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address queries and adapt to evolving tasks.
  • Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
