Welder & Fabricator
Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire
Salary: £14 - £15 per hour (38 hrs, £27,664 - £29,640)
Hours: Full time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (Friday 3.30pm finish)
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Biggleswade, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder & Fabricator to join their growing team. Specialising in high-quality manufacturing projects, this company offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricating sheet metal to a high standard.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (essential).
- Operating equipment such as grinding, drilling, punch machines, and overhead cranes.
- Maintaining high organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in fabricating sheet metal.
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with workshop tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets.
