Cash & Bank Reconciliation Clerk
  • Job Type: Full Time (No Hybrid)

  • Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 (DOE)

We are looking for a diligent Cash & Bank Reconciliation Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily banking of cash and cheques, processing banking paperwork, and performing bank reconciliations. This role requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to work to deadlines.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Daily banking of cash and cheques.
  • Inputting and processing of banking paperwork.
  • Performing bank reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Managing petty cash and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Completing ad-hoc duties as required by the finance team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Good IT skills, with proficiency in finance-related software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Good GCSE results (or similar) in Maths and English.
  • Qualified by Experience (QBE) in a similar role is preferred.

  • Self-motivated and hardworking.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.
  • Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
  • Good time management skills.
