The Senior Architect's Role
The successful Senior Architect will lead architectural design and project management across a variety of exciting projects ranging from £300k to £10m. Acting as Lead Consultant, they will work with clients to shape project briefs, manage design teams, and ensure the seamless delivery of projects from inception to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading site appraisals, feasibility studies, and building regulation applications.
- Producing detailed designs using AutoCAD/Revit and coordinating with external contractors.
- Managing tender processes, value engineering, and project administration.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliance at every stage.
- Supporting the Director in optimising team performance and profitability.
The Senior Architect
To be considered for this Senior Architect position, you must have:
- Part III RIBA qualification.
- Proven experience in Education, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Social Housing projects (desirable).
- Advanced proficiency in Revit software.
- Familiarity with BIM and experience using NBS specifications.
- A thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
