A dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Architect to join their Billericay team. This practice is dedicated to providing innovative and sustainable design solutions, enhancing the communities they serve.

With a legacy dating back over 80 years, this consultancy offers a wide array of services across diverse sectors, including education, commercial, healthcare, and residential. Their collaborative, people-focused approach ensures long-term client relationships and outstanding project delivery.

The Senior Architect's Role

The successful Senior Architect will lead architectural design and project management across a variety of exciting projects ranging from £300k to £10m. Acting as Lead Consultant, they will work with clients to shape project briefs, manage design teams, and ensure the seamless delivery of projects from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading site appraisals, feasibility studies, and building regulation applications.
  • Producing detailed designs using AutoCAD/Revit and coordinating with external contractors.
  • Managing tender processes, value engineering, and project administration.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and compliance at every stage.
  • Supporting the Director in optimising team performance and profitability.

The Senior Architect

To be considered for this Senior Architect position, you must have:

  • Part III RIBA qualification.
  • Proven experience in Education, Public Sector, Healthcare, or Social Housing projects (desirable).
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit software.
  • Familiarity with BIM and experience using NBS specifications.
  • A thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes.
