LGS Vision Recruitment is assisting a well-established company specializing in Transporting to find a bookkeeper for their accounts department.
The role involves overseeing the internal finance function, maintaining a full trial balance, and performing monthly reconciliations.
Candidates should have experience in bank reconciliation, invoice discount reconciliation, and both sales and purchase ledger reconciliations.
The salary for this position ranges from £35,000 to £42,000, and candidates are expected to have relevant experience in bookkeeping.
The company offers flexible working hours, the potential for remote work one day a week, and 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

This is a great opportunity to join the accounts department and be key member within the team.

Our client is seeking a bookkeeper to oversee the internal finance function, to maintain a full trial balance and complete trial balance reconciliations on a monthly basis.

Role:

Bank reconciliation
Invoice discount reconciliation - this is new to the business and fundamental to the role
Sales ledger reconciliation weekly
Purchase ledger weekly
Posting wages journals
Wage control
VAT control
HP and lease register
Support sales & purchase ledger invoices when needed but this will be processed by the admin team

Package:

£35,000 - £42,000
20 days holiday + BH
Full time or part time
Flexible working hours
Potential to one day per week WFH
