Senior Commercial Manager/ Commercial Manager – Eastern Regions
An exciting opportunity has become available to join this well-established Tier 1 Infrastructure main contractor who specialise in Highways & Highways maintenance projects. This position will handle a full range of Commercial management duties whilst reporting into the commercial directors and supporting/ mentoring the commercial team working on your regional projects.

This position will cover the Eastern region, including areas such as Kent, Norfolk and Essex so being located anywhere across these regions will be well positioned for site and client travel.
To be successful in this position you will have gained experience in Highways or similar infrastructure projects and will have gained 6+years experience progressing your career through to management level (or be looking for Managing level as your next step!). The successful candidate will meet the below requirements and be passionate about the standards of work they deliver, enjoying not only meeting but also exceeding clients expectations.
This position comes with Hybrid working, with expectation to be visiting sites/ clients in your region, with occasional requirements to be in the office and the opportunity for some home working days. Flexible working options can be discussed as part of the interview process.

Minimum Requirements:
- 6+ years’ commercial experience as a Quantity surveyor, preferably with prior experience at commercial manager level.
- Ideally you will have some form of degree or educational background in Quantity Surveying; however we are open to seeing candidates who may have developed their career on a different pathway.
- Prior experience working on highways infrastructure projects, ideally term maintenance contracts.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, capable of sub-contractor management and on-site QS duties as well as a full range of reporting responsibilities.
- Have experience working for a Main contractor working on infrastructure projects.
- Capable of handling all commercial management responsibilities, managing teams up to 30 persons in size and varying/ complex project contracts.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Full clean driving licence.
The salary range for this position has an open bracket of £80,000 - £120,000 basic which will be reflected on the experience and level that an applicant brings to the position. The package includes a company car or car allowance amongst other benefits, such as Bonus, matched pension and private medical, along with 28days annual leave + Bank holidays.
