Location: Benfleet
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-5.30pm
Job Type: Temp - Perm
Salary: £12.06 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles.
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
- Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
- Check loads are secure.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent coordination and balance.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
