Our client is a dynamic construction company specializing in new build residential projects in Essex who are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid Coordinator to join their team. The Bid Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful submission of tenders and proposals for new projects.

Tender Preparation:

Gather and analyze tender documents, including specifications, drawings, and contract terms.

Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary information and pricing.

Prepare and submit tender responses within specified deadlines.

Proposal Development:

Assist in the development of compelling proposals for potential clients.

Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure proposals align with company objectives.

Bid Management:

Track and manage the progress of bids throughout the tendering process.

Maintain a comprehensive bid database and filing system.

Bid Analysis:

Analyze bid results to identify areas for improvement and inform future bidding strategies.

Contract Administration:

Assist in the preparation of contract documents and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Compliance:

Adhere to all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Knowledge of construction estimating software (e.g., CostX, WinQS) is preferred.
