We are currently recruiting for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Billericay, Essex. Our client carries out a variety of work across a broad range of sectors and due to continued success are looking to bring on board an Intermediate Building Servcies (Mechanical) Engineer. They would have a focus on education and healthcare projects due to a strong pipeline of work in place.

The Mechanical Engineer will have proven experience of producing mechanical or building services designs from project commencement to completion in line with building regulations, legislation & CIBSE guidelines. Typical projects are new build or refurbishment works on commercial heating systems, ventilation systems, plumbing services and building control systems.

  • Working to deliver design from feasibility to completion / handover.
  • Meet with clients, establishing the brief and budgets.
  • Project manage site works ensuring compliance to specification requirements.
  • Assisting with the production of working drawings, schedules and specifications.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other internal teams.

Intermediate Building Services (Mechanical) EngineerPosition Requirements

  • Relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD, IES and Revit.
  • A track record of time management and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must possess an eye for detail.
