My client are a Leading Subcontractor who have been established in the Facade market for 30+ years.
They are well known in the industry for their professional and adaptive way of working.
My client currently have an annual turnover approaching £50m and are still growing at an impressive rate.
HQ based in Essex, with projects in London and the home counties.
The Role - Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
My client are looking for a proactive, experienced Quantity Surveyor, who can stand alone but also work well within a team.
Their current works secured include a lot of recladding works, where they act as a Principal Contractor on site.
The role will be a mixture of in the office (Essex) and on sites (predominately London).
Reporting into the Head of Commercial you will be:
- Cost planning, procurement processes and contract administration.
- Prepare and assess tender documents and bid proposals.
- Precise cost estimates for various projects.
- Work alongside project teams to oversee and control project costs, ensuring they remain within budgetary limits.
- Keep detailed, up-to-date records of all cost-related activities.
- Site visits to monitor progress and evaluate the financial implications.
- Assist in resolving any financial or contractual issues that arise.
