Permanent - Full Time

We are looking to recruit a Floor layer to join our team in Basildon, working across the area.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties, you’ll be required to fit all types of flooring, including Laminate, Poly Safe, Altro and Cap and Cove, along with some minor plumbing abilities such as minor tiling, removing and refitting utilities. You’ll receive and complete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training), working efficiently and safely in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.

Skills required:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in wet room floors
  • Hold a relevant NVQ relating to floor laying
  • Be proficient at full cap and cove flooring in wet rooms
  • Be proficient at carrying out professional welding repairs
  • Ability to latex/build sub-floors
  • Minor plumbing abilities (remove and refit utilities, minor tiling)
  • Ability to use PDA/emails and good communication and organisation skills

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).
