About the Role

P4 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our respected client for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a 3-bed residential home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and various disabilities.

You will provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in a nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with daily routines, education, and personal development
  • Encourage positive behaviours and build trusting relationships
  • Assist with care plans, key working, and safeguarding procedures
  • Engage children in activities, promoting independence and life skills
  • Work within Ofsted regulations and adhere to care standards
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in a residential childcare setting (preferred)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
  • Understanding of safeguarding and EBD needs
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • A compassionate and patient approach
