Location: UK/Ireland (with oversight of stock in the USA)

Our client is a leading supplier of materials to the Investment Casting Industry. Our materials are used across various sectors, from Aerospace to Sculpture and Jewellery Manufacturing. They take pride in their ability to meet their customers’ needs, ensuring smooth and efficient production.

Responsibilities:

  • Freight Coordination: Work closely with freight companies, customers, and suppliers to coordinate the movement of stock globally. Ensure relevant documentation is provided.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage stock across three locations (UK, Ireland, USA).
  • Purchase Orders: Handle customer purchase orders, including sending sales order confirmations and producing delivery notes.
  • Inbound and Outbound Goods: Monitor and facilitate accurate and timely receipt of inbound goods into our warehouses (two in the UK and one in Ireland) and outbound goods to customers.
  • ERP Systems: Maintain internal ERP systems (Quickbooks and SOS Inventory).
  • Customs Compliance: Review and produce import and export documentation to ensure customs compliance.
  • Inventory Transactions: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through system transactions.
  • Internal Documentation: Handle internal documentation related to stock movement between group companies.
  • Certificates of Conformance: File and distribute relevant documentation.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare various monthly reports, including customer consumption data.

Requirements:

  • Logistics and Supply Chain Experience: Must have experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Specifically, Excel.
  • Multi-Currency Experience: Confident dealing with a multi-currency business (USD, EUR, GBP).
  • Familiarity with Inco Terms: Understanding of international trade terms.
  • Personable and Proactive: Comfortable working in a small office environment with a family feel. Proactive attitude to improve processes.
