Your new company
This exciting new business based in Billingham are looking for a dynamic and proactive Finance Assistant to join the team. This is a brand-new role, offering the unique opportunity to shape and implement new systems and processes from the ground up.


Your new role
Key Responsibilities:

  • System Implementation:
    Develop and implement new financial systems and processes to streamline operations.
  • Bank Reconciliations:
    Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Sales Invoicing:
    Manage the sales invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting:
    Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Purchase Ledger:
    Oversee the purchase ledger, including processing invoices and managing supplier payments.
  • Credit Control:
    Monitor and manage credit control processes to ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • Payroll Administration:
    Administer a small monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.



What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in a similar finance role.

  • Proficiency in using XERO accounts package.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
