Carbon60 are currently looking for a Stores Administrator (Customer Operations Advisor) to join a client of ours who are based on the KP Snack Site in Billingham.

Pay: £12.26 per hour / £26,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, 40 hours a week
Employment Type: Temporary until 21st December 2025 (could go on for longer, not promised at this stage)


Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Performing stock management and ordering procedures
  • Ordering stock based on customer requirements
  • Contacting suppliers - replenishing stock by placing orders to purchase

(Tends to be via their internal warehouse, external suppliers used also)

  • Expediting and maintaining order books - checking upcoming orders, chasing delivery times
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and stock movements on internal digital systems
  • Always adhering to H&S policies and procedures on site
  • Housekeeping stores and office area maintain 5s principles
  • Willing to perform ad-hoc duties as necessary for manual handling of stock on occasions - small components e.g. bearings

Skills / experience / qualifications:

  • Basic competent IT literacy skills - professional email correspondence and use of MS Office for data entry - able to adapt to ERP systems on-site
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with customers on site
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Preferably have administrative and/or customer facing experience in MRO or engineering or supply chain environment
  • Desirable to have a basic understanding of procurement of stock and supply chain principles
  • Desirable to have familiarity with inventory management
