Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a Project Manager on Contract basis for a leading Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company specializinging on the design, development, and delivery of complex projects across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely completion.Oversee project execution from start to finish, managing deliverables and addressing any challenges that arise.Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors.
  • Ensure effective collaboration among team members and cross-functional departments.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff to promote professional development.

Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand project goals, change management, requirements, and expectations.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Track project costs and take corrective actions as needed to maintain the financial budget.
  • Allocate and manage resources efficiently, ensuring all project needs are met.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Quality Control & Reporting:

  • Oversee quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education/Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree
  • preferred) or 10 years for experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering or construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen by effectively managing project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities, variation control, and aligning project outcomes with business objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
