Electrical Crane Engineer

Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees

£40k- £48k/ OTE up to £65k + Vehicle


We are pleased to represent a leading independent lifting equipment provider as they look to expand their current team of Electrical Crane Engineers.


My client are leading experts in their field who have been established in excess of twenty years. Due to growth, they now have opportunities for experienced Electrical Crane Engineers or electrically biased multiskilled engineers with experience in heavy industry to join their team on a permanent basis.


You will be part of an experienced engineering team delivering the highest levels of service to customers as a Crane Service Engineer.


Key duties include:

  • Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries
  • Collaborate with a team of brilliant service engineers and lead technicians
  • Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges
  • Ensure safety and efficiency in every job
  • Offer advice to customers on safety and operational improvements to ensure they stay compliant


The successful candidates will be electro-mechanically trained (electrically bias). You will be comfortable working at height and will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. An understanding of electrical drawings and LEEA qualifications are desirable but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required.


My client offers a fantastic benefits package including:

  • £40,000 - £48,000 basic depending on experience with OTE Earnings up to £65,000
  • 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid break, although some out of hours and overtime will be required
